1. Running out of gas is very embarrassing and should be avoided.<\/p>\n

8. Interstate 95 South through New York is to be avoided at all cost!!<\/p>\n
9. It’s difficult to make time on the back roads, but sitting in traffic in the big cities is far worse.<\/p>\n
10. An iPhone in a half way decent case can survive being dropped off a motorcycle at 70 mph.<\/p>\n
11. You can ride through a lot of rain but in order to ride through heavy rain you need a scuba mask, sunglasses won’t get it.<\/p>\n
12. Gators from J.C. Whitney are worthless when it comes to shedding water.\u00a0 H\/D gators are much better.<\/p>\n
13. When paying at a toll booth (and there are PLENTY of them in the northeast) it’s best to get close to the booth and be very careful where you put your feet – there is a LOT of oil build up in the middle of the lane.<\/p>\n
14. Almost all McDonald’s have Wi-fi and that’s as good a place as any to shade up and check out your next stretch of road.<\/p>\n
