I checked the map this morning and decided that I’d stop for breakfast in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina.\u00a0 They used to have a Nascar track there back in the day and I wanted to see the town.\u00a0 Now, North Carolina is HUGE when it comes to Nascar.\u00a0 It’s said that many of the people here still count; One, Two, Dale Earnhardt, Four, Five…….\u00a0 My kind of place!\u00a0 I ate at Harvey’s Restaurant on the recommendation of the lady at the gas station.\u00a0 Small place with only 5 booths and 4 tables, so far so good.\u00a0 I was trying to figure out what to eat when I heard one of the other patrons order Livermush – now I’ve got to try that.\u00a0 Livermuch was on the menu as well as Brains, and Hog Jowls but there was no description so I asked my waitress & she brought me a sample.\u00a0 It’s like liver pate’ but almost the size of a piece of toast and of course – fried.\u00a0 Purdy dang good is what I had to say.<\/p>\n

From there it was a nice ride into Virginia on good county roads and just a little slab time.\u00a0 I rolled into Yorktown around 5:00 PM and after a long twelve years got to see and visit with my friend Kimberly.\u00a0 I’m going to stay here for another day which is good for me because I’m getting a little less enthusiastic about getting back on this bike every day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
